MOTIVATOR

 A society needs different people holding different profession so that they can contribute their various skills to the development of their society. But if you look at Muslims they tend to obtain popular and traditional business that give an immediate reward. then, our society could not be developed as a progressive nation and can be left behind anyway. thus, we should try to train our youths of various professions and skills without further delay, so let's have a look at various types of profession including motivator. 

 It is important to us as Muslims to know about basic of Islam. Many of people nowadays forget the purpose why we had been sent to this world. The main purpose why we had been sent here is to be leader(khalifah). According to this point, I would like to help my students to be a good leader(khalifah) and make sure that they can contribute something to Islam. I choose motivator as scope of teaching and teach my students how to be a good motivator to motivate other Muslims.

Why I choose motivator is because we are just human,we not the angel,we not the messenger from Allah. We just normal people that contain unstable iman. Sometime it will increase and sometime it will decrease. This is human nature so we need something to help us to try to increase and constant our iman day by day. By being motivator, we can help people with giving motivate for them and keep remind them to worship Allah and also motivate them to be a successful person in this world to help other people that need help such as Pallestin, Syria, Rohingya, and Egypt. By giving motivate to other people we can change their perspective about themselves and be a great person that contain a good spiritual and may help others.

Why motivator is important to the society? This is because we are human or al-insan which means forget. We always forget about something that we had said1. For an example, I still remember when I in secondary school and I skip a class in a toilet but I and my friends had been caught by discipline teacher. We go meet principle and she told the teacher to give punishment to make I and my friends do not do it again. After meet principle the teacher bring us to the assembly and told us to stand in front of around 800 students including female students. The teacher told us to stand there until the end of the assembly. It became more terrible when the teacher announced to other students what we had done before. It very shameful until I and my friends faces become red. But after 2 months letter I and my friends still skip the class and forget about the shameful punishment. So, forgetful is our nature(fitrah) and we need to keep reminding each other to not doing same mistake. As a motivator it become responsibility for them to keep reminding the society in daily life.

The motivation is very important in our lives. A few theories are attempted to explain why motivation is important .It is a stronger need and stronger impulsion. For example , a man has not eaten, he feel hungry and as a response he eat .And this behaviour are explain for motivation, the   motive are prompted him to eat food. In management circle, the motivation can help people to overcome all possible obstacles and achieve our personal and professional goal. Dickson (1973) argue that the motivated of the employees are not entirely by money and their behaviour is linked their attitudes. According by Bedeian (1993) in Hawthorne study, the employee needs and motivation are become to the primary focus of managers. It can improve the relationship between of people and management.

How it's arranged in society? By being a leader that help people spiritually and mentality in term of motivating, it will arrange the society to the good way for one mission. To enter the  heaven after dead and escape from the hell. Motivator will arrange the society with first, show good character that can influence other people to follow us. By showing the good personality it also can make other Muslims feel comfortable and think positively about us. Otherwise, being good can make them more trust to accept what we talk about. For example, our Prophet S.A.W. show the trustworthy before He become the messenger for Allah S.W.T. and the society call him as Al-Amin which means trust person. After receiving the first message from Allah, he start meet people and ask them to be Muslims and Muslimeens. Because of his trust person personality, it influence the society to follow that good man prophet S.A.W.

Secondly, by be the good leader to the society and guide them. Motivator should be a good person to prefer for any question about their spiritual problems that annoyed them and make them lost focus when try to doing something such as working, praying, and even sleeping. By guiding people to the right way with motivate people according to their problem. A motivator should now what happen to the society so he/she can help and guide them so the good and successful society can be generate and insya Allah the society know how to contribute something to the Islamic community.

What is the benefit to the society? The benefits to the society are can help to solve spiritual problem that a normal doctor can't cure it. Only by receiving motivate can help these people and can enjoy the peaceful without any problems. In addition, the society also will be successful community by receiving tips from motivator for examples how to manage time, and how to be a good Muslim and a good worker. Furthermore, by being a motivator it can help society to give knowledge and solve the problem of society that lack of knowledge. With having motivator in the society is very helpful and beneficial to the society. Motivator also can spread the Islamic knowledge and show to the society how beautiful our religion, comprehensive, flexible, and being proved.

On the other point of view, motivator not just give motivate to help spiritual problems, it also help in term of doing business. A motivated employee is someone that works hard because they feel fulfilled when they do so. Motivation is an important area of business research and over the years there have been many 'motivational theories'. One of the best-known theories of motivation is based on Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Maslow argued that individuals have a hierarchy of needs. True motivation is achieved by fulfilling higher order need. Are for reasonable standards of food, shelter and clothing and those other items which are required to be the norm to meet the needs of the body and for physical survival. The base level of need will be typically met in modern industrial society by the exchange of labour for a wage packet or salary. Maslow placed self-fulfillment at the top of his hierarchy of needs. Self-fulfillment is concerned with full personal development and individual creativity. In order to meet these needs it is important for individuals to be able to use their talents and abilities fully. The organisation that wants motivated employees must pay due care and attention both to lower and higher order needs.

What is the impact to the society? By being a motivator it may affect the society either positively or negatively. Every action we take usually have contain pros and const. To be motivator don't have easy way to get through but you must face many test from society and also from Allah S.W.T. to test them, how strong their Iman to play as a role model to the society. The positive impact to the society are people start to 'u-turn'  back to Allah S.W.T. and remember who are us in this world. It also give chance for those who are sinful and willing to seek forgiveness from Allah S.W.T. because the advice from a motivator usually helpful. For an example, a man that works as drug dealer for ten years had receive Al-hidayah from Allah and willing to do 'taubat nasuha' because he have money but lost peacefulness inside his heart. He feel nothing and empty so he meet a motivator to motivate him. By receiving motivate from the right person was very helpful the society.

       On the other hand, motivator give the negative impact to the society in terms of don't have chance to do wrong and lost a lot of time with family because busy keep helping people. Firstly, to be a motivator we don't get even a single chance to do bad things because our prophets S.A.W had stated that a bad thing can make a thousand good things visible in people views. It's so hard to do that because we just normal human. For an example when the society see that a motivator doing bad thing such as having a family problem and the situation was very complicated until their neighbor can hear their high volume voice, it will make the society not confident to accept advice from this family even there has a point but it useless because they start thinking that the motivator don't have any right to correct them.

        Hadith are talking about motivator:

عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ خَادِمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ:"لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ".

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ [رقم:13]، وَمُسْلِمٌ [رقم:45].

The meaning: None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself. It was related by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

From this hadith we can elaborate that loving each other, caring with each other, and take care of each other like we love ourselves, we care ourselves, and we take care of ourselves, only with that we can gain true Believe or Al-Iman. This is the feel as a motivator, because of  loving the society they try their best to help and give a hand for those who are gives up to continue their life. This type of feeling appear when someone lack of knowledge about Islam. Allah had promise that by helping those who need your help will gain big reward from Him in hereafter. It also can be missionaries by spread the beautiful Islamic guidance that promised a reward for each good thing you did. Allah almighty fair.

Furthermore, according to the hadiths above it create love but that not only the effect. Motivator also will give another effects that many people misleading it and what I mean here is effect in our economy. Motivator may effect economy by influence people to be a good worker and to achieve the satisfy when doing their jobs to achieve bless from Allah S.W.T. Motivator also usually have the ability to advice people patiently.

         The Quranic ayah or Sunnah that talk about motivator:

عَنْ أَبِي رُقَيَّةَ تَمِيمِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الدَّارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ: "الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ. قُلْنَا: لِمَنْ؟ قَالَ لِلَّهِ، وَلِكِتَابِهِ، وَلِرَسُولِهِ، وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَعَامَّتِهِمْ" .

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ [رقم: 55].

The meaning.: On the authority of Tameem ibn Aus ad-Daree (may Allah be pleased with him):

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The deen (religion) is naseehah (advice, sincerity).” We said “To whom?” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said “To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk.” Related by Muslim.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم "مِنْ حُسْنِ إسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ".

حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ [رقم: 2318] ، ابن ماجه [رقم:3976].

The Meaning: On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Part of the perfection of one’s Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him.” A hasan (good) hadeeth which was related by at-Tirmidhi and others in this fashion.

From both hadith we can see that how important to take care our brothers, by giving advice and to reminded the society leave the bad habit that did not give any benefit to the society, family, or themselves.

What are the view of Islamic scholar about motivator? The view of Islamic scholar are giving positive comments that agreed and supported motivator 100%. We need someone to guide and to be a leader for us to doing something that recommended by Islam. Motivator is the good candidate to guide the society toward pious society and be successful person in this world also in hereafter. Hence, in hereafter there is no help from anybody except what your practices when you still alive in the world. By helping people who really need your help for sure will gain big reward from Allah S.W.T in the hereafter and in the world. From Islamic point of view that motivator is one of the dual advantages work that give benefits in this world and also in hereafter. Motivator also consider as missionaries in islam to share with other people the peacefulness in our life.

What are the views of western scholar about motivator? It also give positive comments just like Islamic scholar but somewhere somehow there is slightly different between their points of view. Based on what the views of western scholar, they state that Motivator is the good job and provide many jobs for nowadays but being a motivator means you harmful your life to helping people. They said that by motivate the society will give high impression to their family and this give pressure to their sons, wife, and brothers. On the other hand, motivator can give you become good person and show good role model to the society and also to your wife and children so they will respect you as a good leader, a good husband, and a good daddy.

What is my view of motivator? According to my research, statistic, experiment, and survey about motivator, I can conclude that it's approximately 78.902% of 2,460,000 graduated students in this country will get a job and will go through their career because the society nowadays start to turn back and thinking about the creator. The knowledgeable society in this globalization era, can't create beter than the nature even they had study around the world for more than 50 years studying, they still found something that he/she did not know. I got this from my survey, and my statistic showed that the equilibrium point had increased each 5 years and for 2033, I predicted that there are more than 1,000,000 jobs waiting for them. In this modern society, it is no matter what jobs people do, most of them need to be motivated or self-motivated.Whether it is personal goals or organizational goals, motivation plays an important role in achieving them. Therefore, within an organization, it is quite necessary to consider helping employees to be more confidence with their jobs, and organizations will performance well. Especially in a downsizing economic, or suffer in a layoff in an organization, and motivation is considered a useful way to help employees to get out the bad circumstance.

 To conclude,  motivator is the best choice to study because it very helpful and give big contribution to the society and also ourselves. In addition, motivator also can give you a land that full of treasure in hereafter. The most important thing is by helping people and get a job that can make our Islamic society become stronger considered as ibadah. With the bless from Allah S.W.T. I support those who are study to be a motivator and I hope that with new motivator generation will help all the people around the world to be good muslims and escape from hell together. As a result, it is benefit for the organization, because workers become more confidence with their jobs, and it will make them work more hard in this organization to achieve personal goals and also organizational goals. On the other hand, as individual, motivation also helps each employee to modify their massive workload, and workers have more expectancy with their future after a layoff. There is something to be learnt in this. When you decide to do something it is not necessary to immediately think about how to go about getting it. Sooner or later, once you start the project, you will find there are other ways to get what you wanted which you did not and could not know when you started. Deciding what you want is always the most important step. “How” comes later and, if you ask me, is the easier part.
