through The Australian Apprenticeships Access Program provides job seekers who
experience barriers to skilled employment with nationally recognised
pre-vocational training, support and assistance. The program is provided at no
cost to participants and assists them to find and keep an Australian
Apprenticeship, or to enter employment or further education or training.
Australia compare to Malaysia, the vocational education in Malaysia offers in
three different course which is technical,vocational and skills. In prefering a
job, ones will get a better preference according to the program that being
organise by government called continuous professional development for teachers
and organizations in order to produce the best quality of technical and
vocational education in Malaysia. Once a people wants to get in his job, he
should has better quality and a lot of skill related to the profession choosed.
For example, in ICT from vocational course,in other to give understanding to
the students,you must get full understanding in that course first by have the
best quality and skill in the program that government organized.
So,
what is vocational training school exact meaning actually?. Vocational training
school is actually trade school or career school. Its also means education or
training specifically intended to help a student or trainee acquire and succeed
in a specific job or in a specific field of work. Vocational also defined is relates
to an occupation or employment. This word also describes a person who is undergiong
training in a particular skill specifically for the purpose of developing it as
a career.While most forms of education include some aspect of vocational
training, many vocational schools at the post-secondary level teach skills
specific to specific industries. Common examples that always playing around our
mind is computer skills,culinary arts,hospitality and much more.Actually it
contains a lot of field that can be choose by someone according to their
ability and expertness.The vocational training school should be increased where
i’m so agree with the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Malaysia, Tan Sri
Muhyiddin Yassin as the Minister of Education who want that pressed vocational
education and enhanced interest in order to produce a highly skilled workforce
in the future since a lot of student that study their preferred course in
secondary high school change to the another course that opposite to preferred
course before.It will lead to the abundant when it reach in university stage.
The increasing in the amount of vocational training school appropriate with the
target of Malaysia to become a developed nation by 2020.To be a teacher in
vocational training field is the best where it is plenty in types of course
available in all institusion.
There
are many examples of vocational training within traditional high school
programs which is in class learning process,we are essentially teach vocational
skills for students who are prefer a planning to work in a manual labor or
skilled labor position after graduation since its required not too much
excellent result that at least at the stage of ‘good’ or ‘satifactory’.The
formalized vocational training provided by technical colleges required high
school diploma as a condition for admission. It is also known as post-secondary
education.To plant the expertness in the students soul,it should be start and
generalize from traditional school.To choose vocational training school be a
job is brilliant one because it did not need a lot of rival in preferrence
which means did not to compete with other people since most of the people today
prefer in academic school such as science and literature course. For this
reason,we need prefer to this job as our occupation in order to develope

get from vocasional training school as our job since vocational schools can be

academic or intellectual knowledge. Often, schools with a vocational emphasis,

class requirements, rather than an academic degree. Some major industries that
rely on vocational training include mechanics, information technology, beauty
and fashion, tourism, and secretarial or office work. A
vocational curriculum allows students to focus solely on training for a career
in their chosen field. Rather than confuse students with general education
requirements or requisite classes outside their major, trade schools and
programs are geared toward turning out competent professionals quickly. For
this reason, schools with a vocational curriculum are popular for adults
looking to change careers as they often promise quick and directed training
meant to result in job qualifications.So,what we need to improve our skill?. We
should prepare the students with the
basic knowledge and skills to meet with their professions such as of
industry,agriculture and trade. The teachers also should try to organise
various program that will posses the soul of students which can instill
responsibility and eagerness to be useful and productive one.
Furthermore,
it is necessary to cultivate the students so they can build a strong base to
pursue studies in the field of technical and vocational education in the future
not only in academic. To train the students are compulsory to do in order to produce
people who have the knowledge, attitudes and skills that would meet the needs
of manpower required. For your information,technical and vocational education
under the Ministry of Education begins at the primary school level. At the
primary level, students are introduced to the study of pre-vocational subjects
that cover various aspects.As the students progress into the lower secondary
level, pre-vocational education is continued through a Living Skills subject,
which provides students further exposure to various areas of simple vocational
skills. The upper secondary level where technical and vocational education
formally start, as mentioned earlier. Here, the technical and vocational
schools offer the same core subjects as normal academic schools. These cover
several core subjects for the languages, mathematics, and sciences but in
addition the students are required to take selected technical and vocational
subjects from a group of several different options.In vocational training
school , the learners enjoin with the teachers are giving opportunity to choose
various types of courses to be selected that classified into three major types.
Firstly, Technical Stream such as mechanical, civil and electrical engineering,
agriculture science & commerce subjects . Secondly, Vocational Stream. For
example engineering trades, commerce, home economics and agriculture.Thirdly, Skill

school, there are so wide in the type of professions to be selected. Because of
that,there are a lot of benefits that we can gain from the certain profession.But
for the world today, the cosmetology is a not so perfect. It is followed based
on what people most desire on. For my opinion,that is beauty and health.

industry like fillm,fashion and boutique needs these professional cosmetologist

talk here is the importance to give advertisement either in television or
radio.That is cosmetology is.Then if we look at the selected one is medical
assisting profession. This is health care career actually. Compare to the
cosmetology,the desire of people actually rely most on health rather than beuty
quality. Starting a career as a nurse or health care professional will be one
of the most rewarding decisions you ever make. Not only focus on their high
demand for qualified health care professionals but you also work in one of the
fastest evolving professions. A school might offer a number of professional certification and
degree programs for individuals looking to for careers as a nurse, therapist,
medical assistant,dental assistant and much more.So,in this profession,it is
better to choose since it will give a lot of benefit. Ones you get involved in
this professions,you will focus only in this site which related on it. Teaching

college began in 2013. Its is to change the 70% in academic and 30% vocational
learning to have 70% in vocational and 30% in academic learning. Its is
necessary to do it where now, we are lack of people who most expert in academic
learning.Most prefer to study in practical process. With this can encourage the
less in advantages in theory, but practically they actually have the ability,

approaches into our vocational courses. Sometimes it is needed to improve the

after sitting for the Penilaian Menengah Rendah will receive their diplomas
after just four years of studies,as opposed to the common pathway which is to
sit for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia. [5]
One example of true event is about S.Lakxessnah,a vocational student from
Perdagangan Johor Vocational College where she said to taking up the vocational
school pathway was a wise decision. She further said that instead of taking the
conventional pathway which is to sit for SPM ,she will get his diploma when she
is 19 years old.It is not for weak student but for people like him who already
have a clear idea on what we want to do with our future.Lakxessnah was one of
the students who attended one program organised by the government which called
1Malaysia Kolej Vocational Carnival that be held four days in
Klang,Selangor.She went there together with her schoolmates and teacher.The
objective of the four day carnivals was to highlight the variuos courses
available as well as the career alternatives for vocational and technical
school leavers.It is also to disseminate information of the Government’s
initiatives to transform the vocational and technical education.The Government
has vowed to transform the technical education and vocational training (TVET)
sector in a move to make TEVT more appealing to students. If we look at someone
else with their own perspectives.A student Nurul Ain Fatihah Mohd Hisam,16
years old said that society should regard vocational as a desireable study
option.She further said that vocational and technical school were a great place
to discover talents. So that,the Government is actively promoting such
education because it is good way to identify and groom young people who can in
turn help contribute to the economy of our country . But for Kolej Vocational
Klang student T.Peravin said that it was time for the public to change ttheir
perception about vocational education.So,in conclusion,he says that for those
who think vocational and technical education is just for weak students,they
should go into the vocational institution and experiencing on their own because
the institution offers comprehensive education in learning process because
there are both theoretical and practical components.From this evidence
according to this three students,we can conclude that this is very good
initiative by the current Government to encourage people to give focus also in
vocational education.
In
conclusion, Vocational Training school can lead to development to a certain
country in their education system.To achieve it, it is needed to increased in
the amount of workforce in vocational school since most of people today
selected more on academic education which we need to study in theorically.
Anyway,not all of the people today have ability to study in theorically,maybe
he has that,but least. He might be more expert in technical education that can
be benefically to the country in achieve development.Throughout to pursue the
development in education system,it should comes with other example of other
nations. Which is we have to apply the international approaches in our measures
. But we have to make sure that it is not against to our laws. Doing something
which against with our laws will lead to the destroyment of the nation. So,the
government with all the nations have to cooperate each other to reposition
themselves through wise management of training and development in order to
survive and grow the country efficiently. The development in vocational study can
bring more benefics rather than study in theory because,in vocational study,the
students wtih together the teacher can apply what they studied in daily routine
activity in order to make the management life easier.Example here in culinary
arts,for those have master this field besides can be a famous chef she also can
use the knowlegde when they are at home in cooking time.
